At Christ Mission International (CMI), our Children Ministry stands as a beacon of hope for Africa’s youngest and most vulnerable. Rooted in Jesus’ call to “let the little children come to Me” (Matthew 19:14), we create safe, nurturing environments where children discover their God-given purpose, heal from trauma, and grow into leaders who transform their communities.
Through spiritual discipleship, education, and holistic care, we break cycles of poverty, abuse, and despair—replacing them with faith, opportunity, and joy.
Our Approach

Spiritual Growth: Interactive Bible clubs, discipleship camps, and child-friendly worship to cultivate a lifelong relationship with Christ.

Education Access: Scholarships, school supplies, and digital literacy programs to bridge gaps in underserved regions.

Trauma Healing: Counseling and art therapy for children affected by conflict, displacement, or abuse.

Nutrition & Healthcare: Daily meals, medical checkups, and sanitation programs to ensure physical well-being.

Advocacy & Protection: Partnering with communities to end child labor, trafficking, and early marriage through awareness and safe spaces.

Family Reconciliation: Workshops for parents and caregivers to strengthen families through Biblical principles.
Key Impacts (2020–2023)
3000 + children served across 3 nations, including Rwanda, Uganda, and the DRC.

Stories of Transformation
In a remote village in Uganda, 10-year-old Samuel fled his home after losing his parents to conflict. Rescued by a CMI partner, he joined our Children Ministry, where counseling and schooling restored his hope. Today, Samuel leads his class in math and mentors younger boys at the after-school program.
“CMI taught me God is my Father,” Samuel says. “Now I want to be a teacher so other kids like me can dream again.”
